The biggest aftermarket auto show in the World, held every year in Las Vegas.
The show was just as crazy as ever and featured a display of full sized Hot Wheels cars, celebrating 50 years of Hot Wheels.
I also met up with local (to me) legend, Sam Hard of Hard Up Garage who brought his NASCHARGER to the event.
Check him out at https://hardupgarage.com/
The Friday evening is the SEMA Cruise with all the cars and trucks rolling out to an after party - check out my videos on YouTube https://youtu.be/r0yjxJtbxzI
As well as the show there were a lot of supercars round town.

Once again I am organising the annual trip to automotive heaven - the infamous Nürburgring in Germany.
This year the track will be open all day Thursday through to Sunday, so plenty of time to get on track, as well as do some sight seeing and wander around the car parks.
This will also be the annual Wessex Car Club Mega Meet, so a chance to catch up with everyone and have a right laugh at the same time.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the Spring Autojumble is perfect for those with an existing project looking for parts, looking for your next project and of course motoring enthusiasts.
With over 1000 stands and stalls to browse and pick through, you're sure to find the elusive parts required to complete or start that restoration project. Whether you need the smallest nut or washer or are seeking a complete vehicle, all autojumblers will be in their element. There is something for everyone - and plenty of bargains to be had!
Hoping for warmer weather than the snow that was at last year’s meet!
This is a great event without the crowds of the Revival or FoS.
Sadly I can only attend the Saturday this year.
My first time at this event, very much looking forward to the Group B rally cars
Once again I am attending the excellent Retromobile show in Paris, one of the main themes will be the 100th Anniversary of Citroen.
Back to Beaulieu for the Autojumble and the Wessex Car Club Mega Meet
This year, boosted by the continuing success of previous years, Retromobile will be held in pavilion 1, 2 & 3, the largest and most prestigious hall at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre, Paris.
More space for exhibitors, more comfort for visitors, more reasons to buy, to dream, to find out information and to admire new and old products at the countless booths. More artists, more clubs, more federations, more spare parts and scale model vendors, more events organisers, more restorers, coachbuilders and car sellers doing their level best to satisfy visitors from the four corners of the world. And there are even more surprises that only this show can offer.
Sunday 3rd December
Petrolheads will be delighted to know that we are back at Goodwood again this year as our start venue. We started here last year and it was a great success. It is a relatively short run to Arundel so that we can visit the Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice where we will have a raffle, much needed tea and coffee and also cake !
We will get to see where our money goes and see the amazing grounds of the Hospice, the children get to enjoy the cars and their bears !

I will be getting behind the wheel of the Ginetta G40 Club at the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit. I will also be getting some much needed tuition!
So I've teamed up with CKRacingUk to put on a track day in France at Croix En Ternois.
I visited the circuit last year and I have to tell you it was a lot of fun in the MX-5.

The theme for the 2017 Festival of Speed was 'Peaks of Performance - Motorsport's Game-Changers'. Each year we find a new way of exploring the thrilling past, present and future of the automotive world. In 2017, we celebrated racing machines that were so fast, powerful, expensive or complicated that the rules had to be changed to rein them in.
